April 1st  2008-New Stage Area

We have built out our stage area to accomodate larger bands and we are in the process of upgrading our sound system.  It was already a great sound for the room but now we're really going to seriously kick some ass!  In addition we are not booking as many live acts as we did previously.  Bands will be limited to 3 or 4 nights a week, and we will be very selective in the process of choosing acts. 

THIS DOES NOT MEAN WE WON'T CONSIDER YOUR ACT OR BAND!  It just won't be as easy to get a gig at the SCENE anymore.  However it does mean that if we book you, than you're damn good!

April 14th 2008

THE SCENE IS UNDER RENOVATION!

In addition to the stage build out we will be doing some repainting, rewiring, and upgrading the look of the place a bit.  We love the look of the SCENE and plan to make it look just a little bit better.  Which means a better place for you to hang out and listen to good music with cheap, and we mean cheap, drinks for everyone.  The SCENE will be equipped with new lighting, fans, a newer photo booth, and refurbished pool table.   We will be expanding the back area to accomodate smokers, and people who just wish to socialize.   You have to come in and check out the completed renovation in May of 2008 but rest assured you're gonna like the new look.

May 16th 2008 - Huge Show at the SCENE

One of the best lineups ever to appear at the SCENE!  Big Business, Qui, 400 Blows, Tryclops, and Crystal Antlers all played the SCENE in one night!  It was one of the greatest nights our little club has ever experienced.  We had a great time, the bands had a good time, and the fans definitely had a great time. 

May 23rd 2008- The Germs Show

The Germs played the SCENE with lead front man Shane West and it was a completely awesome show!  The band was in peak form and every one who saw the show says it was one of the best ever at the SCENE!

May 24th 2008 - Ice Cream Sundays Starts at the SCENE

Starting with DJ's Joaquin and Shalyce, Ice Cream Sundays is turning out to be one of the better nights at the SCENE.  With $3 drinks, great music, and great dancing, this will be the best night out of the week for anyone who comes to the SCENE!
